Note: GPS programs may suggest Wendover Avenue to Piedmont Parkway. Please avoid this route! Piedmont Parkway will be closed starting at 7:45 am for Fun Run, blocking access to parking. We recommend Greensboro residents use I-40 instead. If you do travel via Wendover Avenue, continue all the way to Premier Drive and turn right. Then turn right onto NC-68 N and right onto Piedmont Parkway.
PARKING
Race Day Runner Parking is located at 4050 Piedmont Parkway in the Piedmont Centre Business Park. Once you have parked, walk around to back of building to find Coaches’ Lot. Continue through lot and cross over Mendenhall Oaks Parkway to find GO FAR Festivities. Runners and families are strongly advised to arrive early – roads will be closed starting at 7:45 am in preparation for the Fun Run and 5K races.
GO FAR RUNNERS
If you have been training with a school group, your coach will have a meeting spot in the Coaches‘ Parking Lot. Ask your coach for details about how to find your group and check-in times. (Most coaches require runners to arrive sometime between 7:15-8:15am.) It is IMPORTANT TO ARRIVE EARLY. There will be a lot of traffic. Give yourself plenty of time to park and find your group in the Coaches’ Lot. After you check in with your coach, you will have time to enjoy GO FAR Family Festivities.
