INDIVIDUAL WORKOUT PLAN

Don't have a running club at your school? No problem! Train on your own, or with family and friends, using the GO FAR way. Run times and fitness tips will be provided online for 8 weeks in preparation for the upcoming Triad GO FAR 5K road race. Race registration fees NOT included. Visit our store to register. Contact [email protected] if you have questions.

HEALTHY PLACES MAPS

Running is an exercise you can take with you anywhere! Visit a local park where you can run before taking a break at the playground or spend the day at the zoo jogging among the animals. Don’t forget that you can run with your family while on vacation and explore new routes and sites.

Triad area families are invited to visit GO FAR Healthy Places Maps, 5K training routes which are scattered throughout High Point. In partnership with the Foundation for a Healthy High Point and the City of High Point Parks and Recreation Department, GO FAR developed run/walk maps in area neighborhoods. Descriptions of proper stretching before and after your training and information about healthy snacks and hydration are included. So grab your family and friends to get out and get active!
