The GO FAR Triad 5K & Fun Run is a race event like no other, designed especially for children and families, to celebrate health and wellness in our local communities. Children from more than 50 Triad schools and clubs train for eight to 10 weeks to achieve an ultimate goal of completing this culminating 5K event. Throughout their training, children learn about positive character traits, the goal-setting process and how to make healthy choices that will last a lifetime.

We need more than 100 volunteers to ensure that we have a fun and safe event. The 5K is a great way for students, civic groups, corporations, and local businesses to come together and serve the children in our community - share this opportunity with friends who might be interested. Volunteer positions typically run in shifts between 6:00 - 11:00 a.m. and include:

• Runner Food Area
• Water Stop
• Set-Up/Clean-Up
