New GO FAR Face: Lydia Hughes, Program Assistant!

GO FAR, meet our new Program Assistant, Lydia Hughes!

 

Lydia is a recent graduate of Appalachian State University, where she received her B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. She spent time at App State teaching Group Fitness Classes and working as a research assistant for the University’s Healthy Outdoor Play and Exercise Lab. Lydia has a passion for holistic health and sharing its importance with her community. She believes in Exercise as Medicine and recognizes how impactful an active lifestyle can be for an individual’s well-being. 

 

Lydia will be serving GO FAR in various ways including managing our social media and website, facilitating club operations, and helping create an awesome race this Spring. Lydia loves connecting with new people and lifting others up, so be sure to reach out via social media or email! 

 

When Lydia is not working, you can find her running, hiking, snowboarding, hanging out with family and friends, or taking a JUMP picture after a run!
