"GO FAR means many things.  To me it means a better life.  Ever since GO FAR has stepped into my life I have changed.  My mile score run was 9:15 but now it is 8:30!  I have learned to pace myself and the proper breathing (in through your nose and out through your mouth).  Every day I look forward to getting out there and run.  It has also affected my sports.  I used to get tired during soccer, but now I can run the entire game and it feels great.  Plus my eating has changed.  Instead of potato chips I grab a yogurt.  My friends notice too.  I used to be the slowest of them but I have worked my way up.  Every time I do the run I get faster.  My first 5K was 39 minutes and my last one less than 32 minute!  I even got my dad into it.  He told me he forgot how good it felt to run.  He now runs three times a week.  To people GO FAR means getting sweaty, but to me it is a door to a new life.  And I just found it!" -   Emory 11 y/o, Southwest elementary(Ms Bennett GO FAR Coordinator) High Point, NC
